History and Key Facts
Rolls-Royce Tennis Club is an established tennis club in Derbyshire and is located next to the main campus of Rolls-Royce plc in Derby.
The club also has 4 hard courts, which enables members to play throughout the year. The club house (“The Tennis Pavilion”) has a terrace overlooking the grass courts, and the Welfare bar is nearby for post-match refreshments.
RRTC has approximately 100 members, ranging from complete beginners to advanced players. Members are not required to be Rolls-Royce employees.
The club offers:
Social Tennis on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5pm and Sundays from 10am.
Competitive tennis as part of the Derbyshire Tennis League and the Burton League. RRTC has 5 Men’s, 2 Ladies’ and 3 Mixed teams in the summer, and 4 Men’s, 2 Ladies’ and 2 Mixed teams in the winter.
Coaching as required on Saturdays from 10am.
New members of all ages and abilities are always welcome!
